The shop
A mural, two grills, and Northern Boulevard.
Chicken Lover's is a charcoal shop first. Birds go on whole, split, and quartered — skin blistered over real coals, not a gas trick. The room is small. The mural watches the door. The fridge hums.
We keep the board short on purpose. Chicken, ribs, the sides that belong with them, a lunch price all day. If it does not belong on the fire, it is not on the menu.
Come for the smoke. Stay because the half chicken is ready.
